McLaren Vale
South Australia's sun-drenched cellar door capital
McLaren Vale sits just 40 minutes south of Adelaide, wedged between the Fleurieu Peninsula hills and the Gulf St Vincent coast. This Mediterranean-climate region is South Australia's most diverse wine area — over 200 wineries producing everything from ancient bush-vine Grenache to structured Shiraz and textured Fiano. Old vines are the region's hallmark, with some Grenache plantings dating to the 1920s. The combination of sea breezes from the Gulf, rich red-brown earth soils, and warm sunshine creates wines of genuine depth and character. 200 GPS-mapped wineries in our database.

The d'Arenberg Cube restaurant offers a multi-sensory tasting menu matched to the estate's wines.
