We could not confirm a new-wine festival in Ribeauvillé in October. The local tourist office's list of wine festivals does not include one, and the town's own events calendar for October 2026 shows none.
What the town does list is smaller. The Confrérie des Rois Mages, a local brotherhood, held a new-wine evening (Soirée Vin Nouveau) in the town hall cellar on 28 September 2024: new wine with charcuterie, bacon, walnuts, cheese and bread, at €22 for adults by reservation. We found no listing for it in 2025 or 2026.
If you were planning around a free-flowing wine fountain, that belongs to a different festival: on the first Sunday of September, after the Pfifferdaj parade, wine flows from the fountain on Place de l’Hôtel de Ville.
An earlier version of this page described a new-wine festival with a wine fountain on the first weekend of October. Neither the town nor its tourist office lists one, so we have taken that description down.
For Pfifferdaj, buy the entry ticket online before 31 August. In 2026 it was €10 instead of €12 for adults, and you skip buying at the town-entrance ticket booths on parade morning.
