Day by day

• Thursday 2 September: wine street from 17:00. At 18:30 the town invites everyone to the Marktplatz in Mosel dress: Moselblümchen for women, the Winzerkittel (the winegrower’s smock) for men. Come dressed and you get a small gift and a ticket for a prize draw.
• Friday 3 September: wine street from 12:00, funfair and market from 14:00. From 20:00 the new Mosella arrives on the Marktplatz on a decorated float to be crowned, joined by wine queens from more than 20 Mosel villages and the town’s traditional clubs.
• Saturday 4 September: wine street from 11:00, funfair and market from 13:00. Fireworks at 21:00.
• Sunday 5 September: wine street and funfair from 11:00. The parade sets off at 14:00 through the old town and over the Mosel bridge to Kues, with floats from the wine villages, bands and walking groups.
• Monday 6 September: wine street from 12:00 (its last day), funfair and market from 13:00.
• Tuesday 7 September: funfair and market from 13:00.

Where to stand

• The crowning: the historic Marktplatz in Bernkastel, Friday from 20:00.
• The fireworks: the town suggests the riverbank on the Kues side.
• The parade: anywhere along the route. To hear who is passing, stand near one of the three commentary points the town names: Römerstraße, the Marktplatz or the bridgehead.
