Where to Eat in Napa Valley

Napa Valley has more Michelin stars per square mile than almost anywhere outside Japan. But great eating doesn't require a reservation 6 months out — the valley's farm-to-table culture means excellent food at every level. The golden rule: eat early (by 7pm) or reserve well ahead.

Wine Bars & Evening Drinking

Wine tasting doesn't have to end at winery closing time. Yountville's R+D Kitchen, St. Helena's Goose & Gander, and Napa city's Carpe Diem Wine Bar all have excellent by-the-glass programmes. A late-night glass of local Cab is how Napa evenings should end.
